Pleasant house, good kitchen and very attentive staff. You'd love to come back there.

Good complex with very good management

We were guests for 3 days in the beautiful hotel directly on the Bode. We would like to thank you for the warmth and courtesy of the hosts and their team. The kitchen was and is a legend that, as a trained chef, I would definitely like to mention here. We will come back.

Buildings and surroundings are very romantic and really beautiful and like enchanted. It's wonderfully quiet at night. We spent a few sunny days here in September. There is also a downside: the decor of the room was not for lovers of the simple design and presented itself overall a bit careless and in need of overhaul. The staff missed a bit of cordiality, one is visibly annoyed by the corona restrictions, which were also implemented in an exemplary manner. Breakfast and dinner were good but not spectacular. For the pricing we found the stay clearly too expensive.

Well what can I say, this place is just: wow! So..where do I start?! Fist of all it is absolutely beautiful, very scenic. Secondly the staff are super friendly and polite, we didn't only feel welcome, we felt like they really wanted us to be there. They were so nice and happy our toddler and dog felt really comfortable too! Thirdly the food was DE.LI.CI.OUS.!! Honestly, it was all home made and so sooo scrumptious. And to top it all off, it wasn't even expensive! We can definitely recommend this place and we will be back!

The Bodeblick in Treseburg is a nice place to linger and switch off, I like to be here ...

Just great ... you can't say anything else ... we felt like "princesses" 🤗🤗🤗 slept in the tower room, ate majestically and served like a king ... thank you very much ...

Nice place idyllic in the Harz. Nice walk along the Bode, possibly from Treseburg as a starting point (by bus) or from Thale (by bus). Or have a walk again via both banks of the messenger. I think it is from treseburg to Thale mainly downhill😉

Good atmosphere and beautiful, fairytale environment

Three wonderful days, delicious food, just feeling good. You arrive and immediately feel like a new person, everyday stress is forgotten. Always my pleasure. We will be back definitely

A very special place in the Harz. Perfect for taking a deep breath. The ambience, the kitchen and above all the warmth of the hosts is unique. Thank you, we are always happy to come back.

Both have gastronomy in their blood, a request, thank you and "very much" come from this family from the heart. Always open to something new, creative from the kitchen to the service to drinks. I only say: hats off !!!

Charming hotel on the Bode river. We arrived later than we expected but the staff was very accommodating and helpful. We had an excellent meal and comfortable lodging. I would definitely recommend it to travellers!

Quiet, well run, with a quality restaurant serving traditional German fare in generous portions and at very reasonable prices. The setting is beautiful and matches the website photos. Reached best by car (note their caution, though, about parking being on the other side of the pedestrian bridge!). I found it easily reachable by bus from Thale, though, but with a 10-minute walk from bus stop to hotel (not recommended with lots of luggage--I saw no cabs in the tiny village). Not recommended for those who find stairs a challenge. Friendly and helpful staff--I didn't test their English, though, and speaking German certainly helped me enjoy not only the stay, but the Harz region in general.
